Amazing!! We stayed 2 weeks in july 2017 at W retreat & Spa. Truly a great experience, 1 week in the Beach oasis, 1 week in the Ocean Oasis. We preferred the Beach Oasis - Service at the hotel is more than perfect! 


Maldives: Seven Star Destination Winner

Touted as the highest, most exclusive award for the pinnacle in hospitality and lifestyle, the Signum Virtutis serves as a guarantee to the luxury consumer that the recipients are truly the best in the industry. This is and will remain a very exclusive club as only the pinnacle of luxury enters the ranks of the Seven Star Global Luxury Awards.

There were a further 21 destinations nominated that were all vying for the illustrious prize. Those destinations are Abu Dhabi, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Dubai, Fiji, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Jamaica, Mauritius, Mexico, Peru, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, St Lucia, Turkey and Turks & Caicos.  The amazing gala ceremony was held at the Villa Padierna Palace Hotel, Marbella, Spain and was graced by numerous individuals from the tourism industry including the Minister for Tourism of Maldives, Honoroable Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Gafoor who also collected a special achievement award for steering Maldives with and development in the tourism field during troubling times.

Several resorts of Maldives also collected personal gongs during the spectacular award show. Hotel and Resort Winners from the Indian Ocean includes Ayada Maldives, Coco Prive Kuda Hithi Island, One and Only Reethi Rah Maldives, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and W Maldives. AYSPA of Ayada Maldives Resort were also winners in the Spa Category
